Bohemian National Hall Will Remount Asia Art Fair in September, 2014
Following the success of its first annual Asia Art Fair, the Bohemian National Hall (BNH) has announced that it will remount the popular fair in September 2014, with an expanded roster of international galleries and dealers.
The Asia Art Fair at BNH
which ran from March 14 – 18, showcased twenty-eight international art galleries and dealers featuring artwork and antiques from China, Japan, Southeast Asia, India and the Near East. The fair offered buyers a unique and tantalizing array of high quality paintings, drawings, rugs, textiles, ceramics, carvings, sculpture, and jewelry – all under one roof.

For more than a century
the Bohemian National Hall has been a cultural, educational, athletic and social center for Czech and Slovak immigrants. This grand building was designed in the Renaissance revival style by architect William C. Frohne and constructed between 1895 and 1897. The Bohemian National Hall was the center of Czech and Slovak culture in the Yorkville area on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
